HB Threads had an incredible time spreading cheer at Metra’s North Pole Winter Wonderland at Millennium Station—and we were thrilled to be part of both event days: December 13 and December 20.

With families coming through to celebrate the season, our team brought a little extra holiday magic by offering free custom buttons—made on-site and personalized by visitors. We loved seeing kids (and plenty of adults!) choose their designs, press their buttons, and walk away with a festive keepsake.

This experience was made possible thanks to the generous support of Huntington Bank, whose sponsorship helped us offer button-making at no cost to families. Their partnership helped create a warm, welcoming activity that brought people together, and allowed our associates to connect with the community while showcasing the work they do every day.

Events like North Pole Winter Wonderland do more than create joyful moments—they shine a light on HB Threads’ mission and our commitment to meaningful employment and inclusive opportunities for adults with disabilities. Every pop-up is a chance to share our story, celebrate our associates, and remind our community that inclusive workplaces aren’t just possible—they’re powerful.
